Ceetrus Polska develops its land resources

Pologne
03 July 2018

Ceetrus Poland (formerly Immochan Poland) has 200 hectares of land, most of which are located near already functioning Auchan Shopping Centres. The company plans to gradually develop these areas and invites investors to cooperate, also when expanding the range of retail clusters.

Ceetrus Poland aims to create modern, vibrant facilities, built in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility. These will be places which perfectly fit into the local environment, providing innovative solutions and services, where people meet and establish relationships. That is why the company wants to develop commercial investments in its areas, and in the future plans to start operations in the scope of multifunctional projects.

- “We are especially focused on improving the effective management of land resources, so-called land banks. These are primarily attractive investment areas around existing shopping centres belonging to Ceetrus Poland. We are developing our cooperation with business partners with whom we will be able to co-create retail clusters. We also plan to sell land in selected locations and encourage everyone interested in this form of investment to contact us” - says Andre Decroix, director of development, promotion and construction at Ceetrus Poland.

Rich land resources

- “Ceetrus has 200 hectares of land throughout the country. This is an area equal to 280 football fields. We would like to develop this substantial resource in a way that would make the existing commercial offer more attractive and contribute to the economic revival of the municipalities where the land is located” - emphasises Andre Decroix.
Extensive areas belonging to Ceetrus Poland can be found in Żory, Wrocław, Sosnowiec, Częstochowa,  Szczecin and Bielsko-Biała. There are conveniently located, in large cities or near their borders, just off exits from bypasses or highways. Many of them are easily accessible by public transport, including free of charge buses. The investment areas include the necessary infrastructure. Potential investors do not have to bear significant costs related to the construction of access roads or providing utilities. Most of these locations are stable and commercially mature. The entry of new operators will expand their commercial and service offer.

Investors are welcome

Cooperation with investors and management of the land bank in the Development and Construction department of Ceetrus Poland is the responsibility of Paweł Wudarkiewicz, director of land management and development, who deals with areas south of the A2 motorway, as well as Piotr Nestorowicz, development manager, who is in charge of areas in the north of the country.

- “We invite local and institutional investors, developers, as well as retail chains - also those who are just entering the Polish market. Our land resources are located virtually all over the country, which allows you to choose the most convenient location for a new project. You can also take advantage of the economies of scale effect and provide your investment with several new locations” - encourages Paweł Wudarkiewicz.
Ceetrus Poland is proud to have constructed numerous retail parks. In many large cities, next to Auchan Shopping Centres, there are facilities which belong to the key business partners of Ceetrus - Leroy Merlin, Decathlon and Norauto. Together with Auchan Shopping Centres, they provide customers with access to a diverse and wide commercial offer.

- “The mentioned brands have been cooperating with Ceetrus Poland for many years, but it’s worth noting that the company’s group of business partners is systematically growing. In recent months, a retail park in Pomorze, which consists of Port Rumia Auchan Shopping Centre, Leroy Merlin, and Decathlon, has expanded by another operator, a furniture brand. We are confident that in the future we will be proud of the results of this cooperation and in this way encourage other operators to invest” - says Piotr Nestorowicz.
