Ceetrus Poland is promoting biodiversity as part of the “World of Bees” educational campaign

Pologne
17 June 2020

For the next two weeks, several Auchan Shopping Centers managed by Ceetrus Poland will be hosting the “World of Bees” educational campaign. The campaign aims to draw the attention of customers to the need to protect bees and the environment.
– Our shopping centers are actively supporting sustainable development to limit our carbon footprint and through an extensive educational program addressed to our customers, in which the environment plays an important role – says Agnieszka Gutowska, Marketing Director, Communication, CSR and Innovation leader at Ceetrus Poland.

As part of the “Bee World” campaign, twelve shopping malls across Poland will install houses for bees made by the Occupational Therapy Workshop “Friends” from Poznań. In the shopping arcades, visitors will have the opportunity to see a thematic exhibition. Thanks to educational charts, they will be able to learn to recognize insects and find out more about them. It will also be an opportunity to learn how to create a bee-friendly place in your home garden or on the balcony. The exhibition will also include works of art made by primary school students located in the vicinity of our shopping centers.

To reach a wide audience, online channels will be used during the campaign. Four videos on the subject of bee protection will be available on our Facebook profiles. Users will learn about the life of bees and the work of a beekeeper, how to design an insect-friendly balcony and garden, and how to make a bee house and waterer. The first video is now available on the Auchan Bielany Shopping Center profile at https://www.facebook.com/CentrumHandloweAuchanBielany/

The “World of Bees” educational campaign is taking place in 12 shopping centers managed by Ceetrus Poland from June 16 to July 4. It will start at the Auchan Bielany Shopping Center, and then will take place at Auchan Shopping Centers in Bydgoszcz, Rumia, Gdańsk, Białystok, Krasne, Bielsko-Biała, Mikołów, Gliwice, Częstochowa and Poznań.
